The In-Sight Photography Project Auction

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting the In-Sight Photography Project in Brattleboro, Vermont, an organization that teaches photography to youth ages 11-18 throughout Southern Vermont, regardless of their ability to pay.  I have been donating prints to their annual auction for the past 5 years, and it was wonderful to finally see the space and meet the people who make the organization what it is.  In-Sight Director Stephen Dybas gave me a tour of the classroom, darkroom, and digital workspace before I took a good look at the art and books up for auction next door at the Vermont Center for Photography.  The gallery is chock-full of art, with a lot of good stuff to bid on.  For those of you unable to make it to Brattleboro, you can view the work and bid online here.  Whether you're an avid collector or simply looking to support an important and inspiring organization, it's worth a look (and hopefully a bid!).
